Video Director-Photographer / Editor
SKETCHURE is looking for a creative and hands-on Video Director-Photographer to work full time in our inhouse team in Cairo. Your job is to create works that show the unique and specialized interior design services for residential, office, furniture, furnishing, retail, commercial buildings and landscape projects for our clients. Also, your role is to capture, create video and image assets to support marketing initiatives and content for internal and external work.
We need a person who can pitch concepts, personally shoot, and ideally also handle editing and post-production. Somebody who can single-handedly produce videos from beginning to end: concept, script, shoot & post-production
Employment: Full Time
Office hours: 9 am to 5 pm (unless assigned to stay later fulfilling work requirements)
Working days: Sunday through Thursday, with weekends on Friday and Saturday. Work-related obligations sometimes require weekend attendance
Roles and responsibility
- Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for our projects, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, and other enterprise-wide projects
- Tells an engaging and emotional story in short format
- Can single-handedly produce videos from beginning to end: concept, script, shoot & post-production
- Work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables
- Recommend video/photography solutions
- Has a showreel or online samples of work
Technical Skills required
- In-depth experience with a variety of video/photo equipment
- Sound and light
- Experience with professional editing software. For Example, Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Camera Raw)

Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited University
- Solid understanding of storytelling, visual composition, lighting, sound, etc.
- Great sense of design and typography
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video & photography
- Artistic and creative vision
- Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
