Senior Planning & Contracts Engineer
SKETCHURE is seeking a a highly motivated and experienced Senior Planning & Contracts Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all planning and contract-related activities for the company.

Sunday through Thursday, with weekends on Friday and Saturday.
Office hours
9 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities:
Planning:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Analyze project progress, identify potential delays, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor resource allocation and track project performance against established KPIs.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to management and stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address potential challenges.
Contracts:
- Review and analyze contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Manage contract variations, claims, and disputes.
- Provide legal and contractual advice to project teams.
- Monitor and control contract costs to ensure project profitability.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices in project planning and contract management.
- Mentor and guide junior planning and contracts engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Construction Management from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and contracts management with a strong focus on fit-out and high-end finishing sector.
- Proficiency in using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project), contract management software, and other relevant software tools.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement regulations, and dispute resolution procedures.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and identify potential issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
