Senior Architect
SKETCHURE is seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior Architect who seamlessly blends strong architectural design principles with advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities and the production of high-quality technical drawings to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and delivery innovative and inspiring buildings while effectively utilizing BIM as a powerful tool for design exploration, communication, and project delivery, from concept to completion.

Sunday through Thursday, with weekends on Friday and Saturday.

Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the architectural design process focusing on concept development, spatial quality, and client satisfaction.
- Produce high-quality architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, details, and 3D models, construction drawings, schedules, and project documents ensuring accuracy and coordination with other disciplines.
- Develop and implement BIM workflows and strategies to enhance the design process, improve coordination, and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Detect and resolve clashes or conflicts in design elements.
- Conduct site visits, coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, etc.), and ensure smooth project coordination throughout the design and construction phases.
- Assist in estimating projects costs and quantities using BIM data.
- Conduct quality checks on BIM models and update the BIM database.
- Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and other project deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Provide training and support to team members on BIM software and workflows throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Actively participate in design reviews and contribute to the overall design culture of the firm.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architectural design with a strong focus on commercial, administrative, and workspace projects.
- Proven expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, particularly Revit or relevant tools.
- Excellent technical drawing skills and the ability to produce high-quality construction documents.
- LEED accreditation or other relevant sustainability certifications is a plus.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of residential and commercial projects.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
