Interior/Exterior Designer – Junior
As a SKETCHURE interior/Exterior designer, you will tap into your boundless creativity and passion for design to produce unique and functionally beautiful spaces for clients. You are a self-motivated, team player who is ready for active participation in all phases of the design process. With you as part of the design team, interiors have never been so engaging.
SKETCHURE is looking for an interior/Exterior designer to work full time in our in-house interior team in Cairo.
Employment: Full Time
Office hours: 9 am to 5 pm (unless assigned to stay later fulfilling work requirements)
Working days: Sunday through Thursday, with weekends on Friday and Saturday. Work-related obligations sometimes require weekend attendance
Roles and responsibility
- Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting
- Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts
- Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
- (3DS Max), should be able to know how to import a CAD file into a Max
- Ability to work on photo realistic exterior/interior modelling texturing
- Interior rendering floor plan
- Exterior rendering landscaping
- Ability to understand and handle
- Ability to understand Architectural CAD Drawings
- 3D Modeling, Texturing, Lighting, Rendering(3Ds Max)
- Well knowledge in Photoshop
- Ability to work effectively both on team projects as well as individual assignments
- Flexible to work for extra time, if required
Key Skills required
- Well versed with 3Ds Max, lighting , Rendering, and other Plugin special effects tool
- Ability to do multitasking
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Capable of delivering high-quality renderings with speed & adherence to the deadlines
Desired Skills and Experience
3Ds Max, V-ray, Autodesk AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, lighting , Rendering.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited University
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
