Job Responsibilities
- Space Planning: Creating efficient and functional layouts for various spaces.
- Design Concept Development: Developing creative design concepts, including color palettes, materials, and furnishings.
- Visualizations: Creating detailed drawings, sketches, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas.
- Material Selection: Sourcing and selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and furniture.
- Project Management: Overseeing the project from inception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management.
- Site Visits: Inspecting project sites to ensure design implementation meets expectations.
- Stay Updated: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, design styles, and building codes.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional interior design experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of residential and commercial projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Corona, Lumion and other relevant tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
